Every family deserves access to financial education tools. EarnIt is now fully accessible to screen reader users with complete VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android) support:

  • 66+ labeled elements: Every button, tab, and interactive element has descriptive labels that clearly explain what it does.
  • Context-aware announcements: Screen readers provide helpful context like "Approve Dishes for Sarah" instead of just "Approve button."
  • Accessibility hints: Complex actions include hints that guide users through multi-step processes.
  • Proper state announcements: Buttons announce when they're disabled, tabs announce when they're selected, and controls clearly communicate their current state.
  • WCAG 2.1 AA compliant: We follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to ensure professional-grade accessibility throughout the app.

  • 🇩🇪 German (Deutsch) — For families in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein

Combined with English, EarnIt now supports 5 languages with complete translations of every screen, button, message, and feature. Even better — all accessibility labels are translated too, ensuring screen reader users get the same great experience in their preferred language.

How to Change Languages

EarnIt automatically detects your device's language setting, but you can also choose your preferred language manually:

  1. Open EarnIt and navigate to Settings
  2. Tap "Language"
  3. Select your preferred language from the visual picker
  4. The app updates instantly — no restart needed!

🔧 Improved Reliability

Behind the scenes, we've made significant improvements to ensure EarnIt runs smoothly:

  • Enhanced error logging: Centralized logging through Sentry helps us identify and fix bugs faster than ever.
  • Production-ready code: ESLint rules enforce clean, professional code without debug statements.
  • Comprehensive testing: All 396 unit tests passing, plus enhanced end-to-end test coverage with Playwright.
  • Better stability: Fixed all automated test failures for a more reliable experience across all devices.

With the addition of 4 new languages, EarnIt is now available in these additional countries:
